Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search box is sent to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log of the terms entered into those boxes.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, the message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. It stays within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Ordinary server and analytics logs may record technical facts when a page loads:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and general device category
- Pages viewed and approximate visit duration
- A referring page, when one is supplied
- The date and time of each request

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not build, store, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Visitor data is not turned into a consumer report or a third-party criminal-history profile. This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
An outside company powers each search box. Its privacy terms, retention choices, and sharing rules govern information sent through that tool. Review the provider's policy before entering a query because this policy does not control the provider's systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the San Saba County government, Texas courts, DPS, other public agencies, or outside services. Once you follow a link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before giving that site personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and select ads. We do not control that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- A search provider receiving a query
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks placing ads
- A government body when valid legal process compels disclosure

Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect a child's personal information. If such data is identified, a request may be made to remove it.
Your Data Rights
Rights vary by residence and by the kind of data involved. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public-information access, while Government Code Chapter 411 limits dissemination of state criminal-history record information. Those public-record laws do not turn visitor analytics into a government file. Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may be able to:
- Request access to personal data held about you
- Ask that inaccurate data be corrected
- Seek deletion of eligible data
- Object to or opt out of certain processing
